Fishing is getting going here in NCW, time to book your trip before its too late
So its that time of the year again that days are getting warmer and longer. That means only one thing, it’s fishing time! We will be starting the year off with Lake Chelan Kokanee and Walleye on Banks and Moses Lakes. So far the fishing has been very good with larger than average fish on both Kokanee on Lake Chelan as well as Walleye on Banks lake. Walleye fishing on Moses Lake should be good also with how hard it iced over I’m expecting good fish and good fishing on Moses Lake this year also. May is my favorite time to fish Moses Lake for walleye but if interested book soon on the website as there is not many days left open as I type this.
Kokanee on Lake Chelan should be good through June with bigger fish than we have seen in the past few years so that is very encouraging! There is days available now though June still with limited days in May and June but lots of days open in April. The limit for Lake Chelan is 10 fish a person so that creates great days with great action. Lake Chelan is one of the best family fishing trips we do all year with sockeye fishing a close second.
We are expecting another great sockeye fishery this year also. We fish these tasty fish mostly in Brewster on the Upper Columbia River with the limit varying depending on run size but its always a great time! Summer run Chinook is going at the same time also with fisheries in Brewster and also Chelan Falls. That is another great fishery with fish ranging up to 30 pounds and very good on the BBQ.
From there we will be heading to Verinta to fish fall run chinook with only a couple days open in early September for that fishery. That is the best pure king fishery we do all year with big fish and good action. We fish these fish on the Hanford Reach section of the Columbia River.
Then we will move down to the Columbia River gorge for what is expected to another great Coho run. We will fish these chrome bright fish fresh from the ocean till Mid November. This is another great fishery with good action and very tasty bright fish. I have some days open for this fishery as well that you can book right here on the website.
With the new website design you can book all trips right on the website as well as check available days. As always if you have any questions call, text or email. See Ya on the water!
