Let's go fishing

There are plenty of fish in the river.

Bobber Down Guide Service offers exhilarating fishing excursions led by an experienced guide. We travel across the beautiful state of Washington meeting with first-timers, enthusiasts, and experienced sport fishermen alike.

Join us in chasing some of the most sought-after fish in the region including Chinook and Sockeye Salmon:

SUMMER CHINOOK SALMON

Summer run Chinook season starts July 1 on most years and is a 2 to 4 fish limit, depending on the run size and year. This is determined by WDFW. These are absolutely amazing fish with sizes ranging up to 40 pounds! They are also a quality fish for the grill with nice red meat.

FALL CHINOOK SALMON

Fall run chinook fishing is the best pure king fishery that we do all year. If you are looking for a big king this is the one you want.

SOCKEYE SALMON

We fight for Sockeye in the Upper Columbia River from Wannapum Dam to Chief Joseph Dam as well as Lake Wenatchee. These salmon are feisty, weigh 3 to 8 pounds, and run in huge numbers in Summer making for a great excursion for the whole family.

KOKANEE

Kokanee are a non-migratory salmon that we like to chase in Lake Chelan. A smaller fish that loves to bite, these have offered some entertaining chaos on the boat as up to four lines have been bit at once.

WALLEYE

Walleye are a highly prized game fish, but are more popular for their excellent taste than for their fighting ability. They like to hide in the deep murky water of lake Roosevelt during the day which leads to some fun trolling.

COHO

Coho fishing on the Columbia River in the very beautiful Columbia River Gorge section is one of my favorite fisheries. These fish are chrome bright and very feisty, as well as delicious on the grill.
