Get ready for some great fishing!
We had a another great steelhead season on the Wenatchee, Methow, and Upper Columbia rivers this year, I want to thank all of you that made it out and all of those of you that didn't you really missed out on some great fishing and great scenic floats! We are getting ready for spring Chinook on the Icicle river and also getting ready for upcoming summer run king and sockeye season. We will start with spring Chinook that will start showing up any day now up here and the season on the Icicle river should get underway mid to late May and really heats up the month of June. As is usually the case this time of year there are rumors of the Wenatchee river being opened once again after a very long absence of spring Chinook fishing but that is still a long shot at this point I would say optimistic 50% chance but if it does open you can expect some seriously good fishing! Springer fishing on the Icicle river is an absolutely amazing fishery with the perfect combination of a wonderful scenic float through the mountains of Leavenworth and strong fresh fish ranging from 10 to 30lbs and to top it all off are arguably some of the best eating fish you can anywhere! So with all that said you can imagine this fishery books solid so if you would like to fish this book a trip soon before its all filled up there are still lots of open dates with even a couple weekend spots available.
